THAILAND CLINCH THIRD PLACE

IPOH : Thailand defeated Indonesia 4-0 clinch third place in the 4th Asian School Hockey Championship 2014 at the Azlan Shah Stadium today.

With the win, Thailand improved their fourth placing in 2006 in Kuantan.

As expected, Thailand dominated the game with ease defeating the opponent.

The opening goal for Thailand was scored by Abdulkaree Tohbee at the 13th minute followed by the goal by Paisan Samranjai nine minutes later for the team to lead 2-0 in the first half.

Pasakorn Wadtuna increased the lead for Thailand just a minute after resumption and Theppithak Namkhot completed the rout in the 63rd minute.
